Maria Jennifer, the Naam Tamilar Katchi (NTK) candidate for the Kanyakumari Lok Sabha constituency, launched an intensive election campaign yesterday across several areas within the Colachel assembly constituency.

She gathered votes in various localities including Arasanvilai, Vellichanthai, Kurunthancode, Kattimancode, Kakkottudhalai, Thirunainarkurichi, Ammandivillai, Kadiyapattanam, and Manavalakurichi.

During her speech, she stated: "Many families in our district are suffering from cancer. Everything from the food we eat to the air we breathe is becoming toxic due to poor environmental management. Quality education, healthcare, employment opportunities, and safe drinking water are our basic rights. To ensure these and to establish pure Tamil nationalist politics, I urge you to vote for the 'Mic' symbol of the Naam Tamilar Katchi. Give me an opportunity to be your voice in Parliament."
