Seeman’s Party Enters the Field to Remove Marungur TASMAC Shop

In Kanniyakumari, the Naam Tamilar Katchi (NTK) has announced an agitation scheduled for November 24th at the Marungur Veppamoodu Junction. The protest is aimed at demanding the relocation or removal of a TASMAC (government-run liquor shop) located on the road leading to Marungur Amaravathivilai within the Agastheeswaram North region. According to the party's statement, the shop's presence has caused significant hardship to the public, created safety issues, and turned the area into a hub for illegal activities. Despite petitions submitted to the District Collector and the government by local residents and NTK members last week, no action was initiated. Consequently, the Kanniyakumari Legislative Assembly Wing of NTK has called upon district administrators and the general public to join the protest at 10:00 AM to condemn the government's perceived negligence and demand immediate action.
