Nagercoil, Aug 10 - Members of the Naam Tamilar Katchi (NTK) have lodged a formal complaint at the police station regarding sand smuggling activities at the Kattalai pond located in the Shenbagaramanputhur panchayat area. The complaint, submitted at the Aralvaimozhi police station under the leadership of NTK State Coordinator Deepak Solomon, states that soil and sand resources are being smuggled and sold in quantities far exceeding the permitted levels. The petition demands strict action against the anti-social elements involved in this illicit trade. The complaint was handed over in the presence of various party functionaries, including State Women's Wing Coordinator Maria Jennifer, Zonal Secretary Advocate Panneerselvam, State Environmental Wing Deputy Secretary Venu Santhar, Thovala East District Secretary Varun, News Correspondent John Jeba Wesley, Shenbagaramanputhur Panchayat Administrator Sudhakar, and Thovala Center District Administrator Vijesh.
