NTK Street Corner Meeting Held in Arumanallur

Nagercoil, March 4 - At a street corner meeting organized by the Naam Tamilar Katchi (NTK) in Arumanallur, a demand was made to fulfill seven major local grievances. The meeting took place at Arumanallur Junction, coinciding with the opening ceremony of the Arumanallur Panchayat office under the Thovalai West district of the NTK Kanyakumari region.

The event was coordinated by Thovalai West district functionaries including Alexander, Anitha, and Sharlin Raj. Special guests included Maria Jennifer (Kanyakumari Legislative Assembly candidate), State Coordinator Deepksalomon, Zonal Coordinator Panneerselvam, District President Santhanam, Treasurer Robinson, and other office bearers from various wings like the Youth and Blood donation wings.

The seven demands highlighted during the meeting were:
1. Immediate repair of the bridge and connecting road between Thadikarankonam and Arumanallur.
2. Rapid completion and operationalization of the Government Primary Health Center.
3. Urgent road repairs in the Gandhi Nagar area.
4. Removal of dangerous electric poles located in the middle of the Arumanallur Churulacode canal to ensure safe power supply.
5. Restoration of canal banks to ensure safe vehicle movement.
6. Providing a permanent water supply solution for houses in the elevated areas of Elapparai.
7. Repairing the broken footbridge connecting Elapparai and Veerapuli.

The meeting concluded with a strong call for the authorities to address these essential public needs immediately.
