NTK members protest in rain to remove Marungur TASMAC outlet

In Nagercoil, members of the Naam Tamilar Katchi (NTK) staged a protest demanding the removal of a TASMAC liquor shop located on the road leading to Amaravathivilai under Marungur Town Panchayat. Despite heavy rainfall, the protest was held at the Marungur Vepumoodu junction. State Coordinator Deepak Salman presided over the agitation, with State Women's Wing Coordinator Maria Jennifer attending as a special guest. Local party functionaries Marcus and Martin organized the event. Speaking at the protest, Deepak Salman stated that even if a TASMAC shop is legally authorized, it must be removed if it affects the public. He warned that people are watching and will respond during elections, emphasizing that their struggle is not for votes but for the welfare of the people. Other participants included State Women's Wing Secretary and Marungur Ward Councilor Jameela, along with numerous other party executives.
