Naam Tamilar Katchi Protests in Senbagaramanputhur Demanding Recovery of Adi Dravidar Lands

A protest was organized by the Naam Tamilar Katchi in Senbagaramanputhur, Aralvaimozhi, led by State Coordinator Deepan Solomon and attended by Guest of Honor Maria Jennifer. The protesters highlighted that 15 years ago, the government acquired over 500 acres of land in the Indira Colony area, promising the establishment of a rubber park and employment for the local Adi Dravidar community. However, the park was never built, and the land has since been fenced off, preventing the local community from using it for grazing cattle or accessing traditional water sources. Despite multiple petitions to the District Collector and resolutions passed in Gram Sabha meetings, no action has been taken. The party condemned the government's indifference and vowed to continue standing with the people until the land is recovered. Various local and regional party functionaries, including Thovalai East District President Varun and Secretary Abdul Kadar, participated in the event.
