Nagercoil, March 31: Maria Jennifer, the Naam Tamilar Katchi candidate for the Kanyakumari Assembly constituency, has filed her nomination papers. Following the Election Commission's announcement that nominations for the upcoming assembly elections could be filed starting yesterday, candidates have been filing their papers with enthusiasm. In this context, Maria Jennifer filed her nomination at the Thovalai Taluk office to contest on behalf of the Naam Tamilar Katchi in the 229-Kanyakumari Assembly constituency located at the southern tip of Tamil Nadu. Speaking to reporters later, she said, 'Our goal is big and our dream is big. Though the journey is tough, we are putting in our hard work. While other political parties are playing politics to retain their victories and positions, Naam Tamilar Katchi is doing politics to create a new victory.'
