The selection camp for the state-level volleyball team took place in Tirupattur, where regional-level athletes participated. Selva Akash, a 9th-grade student at LMS Higher Secondary School, Thenthamaraikulam, Kanyakumari district, was selected in the under-14 category. A felicitation ceremony was organized by the school management to celebrate this milestone. The school correspondent, Mr. Calvin, presided over the event. Headmistress Anu J Preetha provided the keynote address. District Volleyball Association Secretary Dennis, along with other dignitaries including Chandrasekar, Jeyam, Maria Jennifer, Deepak Solomon, Peni Joseph, and Fire Department officials Ashok Kumar and Arun, offered their congratulations. The student and his parents were honored during the ceremony. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by teacher Jhansi Rita, attended by staff and students.
